This wine comes from the Trapani region in western Sicily. Harvesting is done by hand in September to ensure perfect ripening of the grapes, which are entirely vinified in cement tanks–not a process commonly used today. An elegant wine with a potential 3-4 years in the cellar.
Ruby color with purple highlights, this wine exudes aromas of blueberry, plum and violet. The grapes are vinified in cement tanks, which brings out the fruity and spicy notes. The tannins are soft and silky.
Cocktails and pairings
Mixed grill meats and grilled eggplant with olive oil.
Serve between 16-18°C.
