The vinification process includes mechanical harvesting, total destemming, sorting of grapes and three weeks of maceration at a controlled temperature. Wine is matured in cement vats for 18 months.
Deep ruby color. The nose has hints of blackcurrant, cedar and damp earth. This wine offers robust tannins, as well as flavors of ripe plums and dead leaves. The finish is persistent.
Cocktails and pairings
Wild mushroom risotto with arugula and roast beef au jus.
Serve between 16-18°C.
